eu tenho dificuldade em abstrair personalidades: se estou lendo um texto, independente do autor, gosto de saber como a pessoa se parece.
ultimamente tenho lido muitos textos de nomes como rick poynor, andrew blauvelt, steven heller, katherine mccoy e ian noble. fui à procura deles no google e encontrei este site de uma universidade portuguesa http://www.esad.pt/personalviews/. nele são apresentadas breves descrições de cada um dos autores junto de uma fotinho, além de, para sorte de nós interessados, um vídeo com suas respectivas opiniões sobre a posição do design atual.
agora me sinto mais segura. :)

missões & missões
missão #1: ainda falando em tcc, e após breve porém substancial conversa com a angie ontem no caminho à aula de francês - sim, falamos das nossas missões como designers -, recebo hoje pela manhã um e-mail da supracitada, com o seguinte:
Woody Allen/Sandy Bates “But shoudn't I stop making movies and do somethig that counts, like helping blind people, or becoming a missionary or something?”
Space alien “Let me tell you: you're not the missionary type, you'd never last. And, incidentally, you're also not Superman: you're a comedian. ¿You wanna do mankind a real service? Tell funnier jokes!”
alegrou a minha manhã, apesar de ter me deixado mais preocupada ainda com a minha indefinida função como designer (e se é que a minha função no mundo é ser designer e não viver complicando as coisas, indecisa e mudando tudo na última hora).
missão #2: "list seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs." - enviada pela anamargarites. isso é fácil de decidir. obrigada pelo momento de lucidez, ana! :)
voilà! (vou justificar com pedacinhos delas - sim, todas tem letras).
#1: let's get lost - elliot smith
i've been outside. invited in. but i couldn't abide. wouldn't miss it again. burning every bridge that i cross. to find some beautiful place to get lost.
#2: from the rooftop down - nada surf
my dad said: turn left in 5th avenue and walk four blocks. i turned right, and walked a long time.
#3: australia - the shins
you don't know how long i've been. watching the lantern dim. starved of oxygen.
#4: a fond farewell - elliot smith
and i can deal with some psychic pain. if it'll slow down my higher brain.
#5: king's crossing - elliot smith
frustrated fireworks inside your head. are going to stand and deliver talk instead.
#6: for the girl - the fratellis
she said take me to london, tell me something i don't now. la la la la la la.
#7: conquest - the white stripes
ahh ahh ahh ahhhhh
e como aparentemente todos já receberam, envio esta missão à angie e às gurias do pimpmytcc, com exceção da margarites que já fez. :D ou lá é pra falar estritamente de tcc? peço permissão à profe para que deixe as meninas postarem suas listinhas. :)
